Cherokee Foothills Senic Byway article in Trailer Life magazine. I just read this this morning. It is only a couple of hours away. I may do this trip this fall. Anyone else intrigued by it?

What is the name of the campground and are you still up for the trip? Like to look into it if the weather holds out. Going to try and do a Warriors Path camp out this weekend if your interested? Any advice Richard??? You probably know the most about when that place fills up and when it doesn't.

Hi Familyman, You should be fine at Warrior's this weekend. Once the pool closes, the campground loosens up. If for some reason it is booked up when you get there, Observation Knob is a good fallback.

At this point, I can't see making the Cherokee Foothills trip. I haven't been actually camping since out spring kickoff. Hopefully we'll get things settled down at my job and I can get back to camping with all yall really soon. Seems I've missed Summer. Fall is my favorite time to camp anyway. I'll be in Kingsport tomorrow, how do I recognize you if I drive through Warriors Path?

Decided to call it off. The weather isn't looking very PUP friendly so hoping that next weekend will be nicer. Really wanting to sneak in one more trip this year. "I know that the snow doesn't stop you....... LOL!!!" pirat

I am helping my daughters troop on a hike up at Bay's Mountain on Sat. It is just an easy one at2.5 miles. I am hoping the rain waits till afternoon.
