Figured I'd add some shots of our 5er, haven't posted any here since joining.

And finally one of my fav's from leaving Lazy Acres:

Thanks. All that room fills up fast with a toddler and all her things

We just "upped" to a Wildcat 32QBBS, which has the front bunks for our 2 daughters. They do seem to multiply the amount of stuff you have to have more than just by 2.
Hope to see you out camping sometime soon.

We are expecting DD #2 any day now, so we will get to carry more "stuff" with us now.
We'd be at the River Plantation gathering if it wasn't for the new kiddo coming. We will make it out at some point on a trip, we try to get out once per month so surely we can pull it off at some point.

Very nice camper you have. I'm sure you have lots of room for the up coming baby. Congrats to you and have many happy camping memories to come. Hope to see you around the campground.

Congratulations on the new baby AND the camper. Very nice! We just got our final child off to college and out of the house. Whoo Hoo! More time for camping! Seriously though... You have a wonderful journey ahead of you. Enjoy every day... They go by very fast!

Re: Chaparral 5er
I agree! Don't have a 5th wheel.. but if I had my choice (and wanted to spend the $$) a fifth wheel seems to make the most sense. Lots of room, great layouts, large storage bays, easier maneuvering (if you have a big enough tow veh).. etc etc. However, since it's always just me and a dog, I can't justify needing that much space. And for now, for drinking beer and telling lies around the campfire.. my little trailer works ok. (I really like it)campencple wrote: i really think you get more for your money in the 5th wheel

I've been known to do that with nothing more than a tent and something soft to lay down on at night
