Camping Chair
Looking to purchase new camping chairs and I have only used the fold up with the bag chair. I would like something more comfortable beside the lounge chair we have. I can always use the fold chairs while fishing. I have notices several of you have any different style chair and was hoping which one you would recommend. Thanks

Re: Camping Chair
I like the one that I bought that is like Chuck's green one, but it is heavy. It is steel, not aluminum. It is an old style folding chair with webbing on a frame. I also have some old director chairs that I like. My next chair will be the new style director chairs that have aluminum frames.

I thought my sister in law took care of that chair? (By the way, she died this summer. I don't know if I posted it on here or not.)

Sorry to hear about your sister in law. The director chairs are nice and look sturdy, in time do they start to sink. I'm looking. Thanks.

I don't know if you remember the folding chair got last year.. I am really happy with it. Very comfortable.. a little pricey.. but it's well made and I think it will last a long time. It's an ALPS Mountaineering Folding Camp Chair .. I bought it on Amazon.

I am checking out the zero gravity chairs. I like the fold up chairs you have to Chuck since I sat in them while camping anyway. I have an open thought to just the right ones. Wishing luck for myself. Thanks everyone..

We have one of these. Walmart oversized chair
and we have two of the regular size ones.
I have one that I purchased years ago, but it is not the mesh fabric.
These 4 chairs are all we carry with us.

We have 3 zero gravity chairs that we carry along with some bag chairs. I caught the zero gravity chairs on sale at Bass Pro about 7 years ago. I have had to relace them a couple of times. This last time I tried better laces from Sgt. Knots and they seem to be lasting longer.

Re: Camping Chair
I found a bag chair w/footrest at big lots. $18 dollars. They still have them at various stores. I saw some at the store in Bristol the other day. I'm going to buy a couple more this year. They're pretty sturdy. I'm about 6'2"/230 and it's held up pretty good for one year. One of the foot rest braces broke but I fixed it with a wood screw. Here is a link to one at target so you can see what I'm talking about... but like I say, I got mine at big lots. clicky
