That's been my plan for a while, but I just don't have the extra $$ for it. Those are just great and I hope you have fun on them.

Their 2014 Honda Ruckus, 50cc scooter, fully automatic, over 100 mpg, 43 mph top speed, no motorcycle endorsement needed, Honda Yamaha Suzuki of Knoxville, around 2700 msrp. You can pick them up unmolested on craigslist for a lot less though if your patient. A lot of kids get them and modify them up to extremes, putting larger engines in them and stretching them . Its a big fad to customize (check youtube for "Honda ruckus") They are not for highway riding because of their top speed limitations but Carolyn and I can go hours on the back roads and hardly pass another car. They can also go on non paved roads fairly well. There have been people who have crossed the country on these believe it or not, personally I don't know how they did it because after 30 or so miles your derriere is about toast. You can buy cheaper chinese scooters but you cant get parts for them and their not as well made as the ruckus. Honda makes another style of scooter that is 50cc called the metropolitan but its more euro styling like the Vespa and doesn't quite have the top end the ruckus has, but has storage under the seat which ruckus doesn't unless you add on. (Carolyn's 8 dollar Walmart RV battery box made an excellent storage area under the seat). These are just too much fun Smile
