Chuck's camper
Here's what I camp in.. It's a 2006 JAYCO 197. I feel blessed to own it.. Someday maybe something a little bigger.. but for now.. it's perfect:
RE: Chuck's camper
You got a real nice camper Chuck. It is a good size for just 1 or 2 persons.

I have never seen your camper (whether in pics or live) without the red bicycle out front. A nice touch

Don't let Chuck fool you Alan. I saw him riding it at Claboughs. I believe he had a six pack with him at the time

Re: Chuck's camper
Since Dave and Darlene got their new hybrid this week.. and they have been talking about cleaning it up.. packing it up.. etc. I got inspired. SO I washed and shined "Big Jake" today.. it's real purty!
Re: Chuck's camper
It looks pretty Chuck, I didn't think it was even dirty.. You keep your camper looking great.

Re: Chuck's camper
Hmmm, maybe I could get a "will wash camper for bunk space" sign. Then I wouldn't need to buy a camper, just show up with a bucket, soap and rags.
Re: Chuck's camper
Now Richard, you know that I offered to let you stay in my 5'er. I have plenty of room for you and your kids. However, if you want to wash it, for a bunk, your welcome to do it.Richard wrote:Hmmm, maybe I could get a "will wash camper for bunk space" sign. Re: Chuck's camper
Here's a few pics of the inside of my camper:
Front U-shaped dining area.. there is a table that sits here. Also makes a good sized bed, if needed. The entrance door is to the right.. kitchen to the left. I like this area.. and especially the front window.
Here's the kitchen area. I thought I wanted a double sink.. but now I realize I like having he extra counter space instead. Just to the left of the stove/oven, on the other side of that little wall (not visable in pic).. there is a pantry with three or four shelves. I have since mounted a flat panel TV to the end of the overhead cabinet. It can swivel and turn for visabilty from all areas of the camper. There is now a mirror on the overhead cabinet door.
Corner double bed and bunk in the left rear of the RV.. Upper bunk weight capacity is 300 pounds. So an adult can sleep up there, I usually sleep in the lower bunk. I have added a memory foam topper to the bottom bed. Refridgerator on left.. with a sep. freezer compartment inside. That's the dinette table on the bed.
The bathroom.. Don't spend much time in here (cause it's pretty small).. but maybe the most appreciated room in the camper.
