Ever heard of Cooler Corn? Found this idea on an RV website.. they say its a good way to prepare corn on the cob.., especially if you need to fix a dozen or more ears.

Here’s How To:
Get a cooler (size depends on your # of ears) wipe it VERY CLEAN

Shuck corn.. if needed

Put the corn in the cooler

Pour boiling water over the corn and close lid

30 minutes, or so.. serve!

The site says that the corn will “remain at the perfect level of doneness for a couple of hours”

There's quite a thread on cooler corn on popupportal.com. Most say it really works. A few have posted concerns about chemicals from older plastic coolers (BPA I think it was).
