I have just found out that Tractor Supply refills propane tanks and they charge by the the gallon. They will top your tanks off just for the amount of gallons you need.

The site does not give any pricing that I could find...but it will give your nearest location, and phone #.

Thanks again Cool.

I think you will have to call your local TSC to find out the per gallon charge. The store in Morristown was $3.00 a gallon. My 30lb tanks hold aprox. 7.2 gals. I drop by the TSC tomorrow at the Morristown store to see their price.

On the front of the Times Free Press Paper 6-17-12 from Chattanooga there is a $3.00 off coupon from Ace Hadware for filling Propane tanks. The Ace Hardware near me is $2.99 per Gallon.
